Cybernet Unveils Two New State of the Art Medical Panel PCs
November 13, 2018Irvine, CA 11/13/18 – Cybernet Manufacturing has just announced the addition of two new medical panel PCs to their lineup of medical computers – the CyberMed S19 and the CyberMed NB19. Both units are equipped with a powerful Intel Skylake processor, can be customized to fit nearly any practical application and feature a 19” screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The 4:3 aspect ratio was designed specifically to fill a demand in the market from medical device manufacturers who often times need hardware with legacy specs to properly run their software. Legacy compatibility is just the beginning of what sets these units apart.
The CyberMed NB19 features Cybernet’s hot swap battery technology. Powered by two batteries, these units never need to be plugged into a wall. As one battery is depleted it can be replaced with a fully charged battery to provide continuous uptime.
Conversely, the CyberMed S19 is powered through a traditional power outlet. However, it has its own internal UPS that can provide up to 5 hours of uptime in the event of a power outage, or if you just need to wheel equipment from one room to another without power interruption.
“We are in constant communication with our customers to better understand the needs of the market. The medical device manufacturers that we partner with need 4:3 aspect ratio’s because that is the specification that their software is designed for,” said Ali Bagheri, VP of Global Operations at Cybernet. “With the CyberMed S19 and NB19, we are able to combine legacy specifications with modern processors and components.”
Like all of Cybernet’s medical grade computers, both the CyberMed S19 and CyberMed NB19 feature antimicrobial* casing to protect the computer from degradation or deterioration, are IP65 rated and are IEC/UL60601-1 certified to meet near patient safety standards.
