Cybernet to Attend Medica 2016 World Forum for Medicine in Dusseldorf, Germany

October 12, 2016

Premier All-in-One PC manufacturer to showcase its new Power over Ethernet Medical PC, the CyberMed M10, with the computing capabilities of a 22" PC but in a 10.1" PC

Cybernet Manufacturing, Inc, the pioneer in the ergonomic, All-in-One medical & industrial PCs, will be showcasing its latest offerings at the Medica 2016 World Forum for Medicine. The conference will be taking place in Dusseldorf, Germany, from Nov. 14-17, 2016.

Sales and engineering teams from Cybernet's international offices in the UK, US and Taiwan will be onsite demonstrating their most recent line of medical grade computers and tablets, including the CyberMed Rx, medical tablet with a completely antimicrobial* exterior; CyberMed H24, medical grade All-in-One PC; CyberMed T10C, 9.7" medical grade tablet; CyberMed C22, Medical Panel All-in-One PC and CyberMed NB22 medical computer with its three hot-swappable batteries.

“We are excited to be a part of the world’s leading trade fair for the medical industry,” said Ali Bagheri, Cybernet’s Global Senior Vice President. “Medica 2016 is a unique opportunity for us to give healthcare IT administrators a thorough hands-on look at our newest devices. Medical computers are pushing the boundaries of healthcare, and we’re proud to be in the avant-garde of developers designing the cutting-edge technology for medical professionals.”

Cybernet will be unveiling our newest model of a medical grade computer, the CyberMed M10, a 10.1" fanless, antimicrobial* PC with Power-over-Ethernet capability. The size of a tablet, CyberMed M10 brings the computing capabilities of a fully-fledged desktop PC, yet consumes half the power. Waterproof and VESA mountable, CyberMed M10 comes with RS232 legacy ports and optional integrated readers.

“We keep a firm grasp of the industry’s growing needs and know what’s on our customers’ minds. The advent of the mobile technology identified a new vector for the manufacturers – people want more power and more features in a smaller, more affordable package. Hence, there is an increasing demand for the small form factor PC that would be as powerful as its desktop counterpart, yet as convenient to use as a mobile tablet,” said Bagheri. “Enter CyberMed M10.”

Thanks to its Power-over-Ethernet capability and a 10.1-inch touchscreen, CyberMed M10 is an ergonomic solution for hospitals where patient safety is paramount and extra cabling is unwelcome. The IP65-certified, antimicrobial*, waterproof, fanless build is perfect for near-patient use by both patients for infotainment and doctors for medical applications. VESA mounting and optional integrated Smart Card, Barcode or RFID readers make it a flexible medical grade All-in-One PC that’s also affordable and economic due to low power consumption through the efficient use of PoE.

“The cost to power an average desktop PC can amount to hundreds of dollars per year,” Bagheri added. “Reducing that amount by 50% can result in significant savings, especially in hospitals and long-term facilities, where computers are often used 24x7. PoE also reduces the need to install additional electrical wiring and outlets.”

Cybernet will also feature two medical grade tablets at Medica 2016. CyberMed Rx is the first medical tablet with a completely antimicrobial* housing and touchscreen, rugged drop protection, carrying handle and dual hot-swappable batteries. CyberMed T10C is a 9.7-inch medical grade tablet approved by ESE Desktop Technologies for use by the VA, also dubbed as a Swiss Army Knife of IT solutions due to its versatility and robust specs.

“All our medical tablets and computers conform to CDC guidelines, and are safe for use in sterile and near-patient environments,” Bagheri said. “We design our devices with patient safety in mind, without compromising on doctors’ productivity.”

Cybernet's sales representatives and product engineers will be available to answer questions about Cybernet’s entire line of medical grade computers and tablets. Visitors will be able to recommend features that they would like to see in future products to the product engineers who design Cybernet's devices impacting future product releases.
