Frequently Asked Questions

What is the warranty on your batteries and what are the maintenance intervals for the battery replacements?

All batteries have a one year warranty.

The sad truth is that no battery will last forever. Over the course of repeated cycles of charging and discharging, the chemical reactions that enable their function inevitably degrade. This will result in unexpected behavior, including less run time for the battery-powered medical monitor, which relies on the health of the batteries. At that point, the only option left is to replace it.

Cybernet strongly suggests replacing batteries every two years to continue the proper operation of the unit per its original specification.

What hospital-grade disinfectants are compatible with your battery-powered medical monitors?

We test our battery-powered medical monitors with a wide range of hospital-grade disinfectants to ensure compatibility. This includes 70% IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol), Cavi Wipes, Sani-Cloth Wipes and 6% Sodium Hypochlorite. You can find a list of compatible disinfectants in our knowledge base.

Are there optional embedded privacy filters for HIPAA compliance or anti-glare options for harsh lighting environments?

Cybernet can customize each battery-powered medical display to add a range of different touch glass options, including both embedded privacy filter and anti-glare film. We designed the CyberMed XB Series so that even with hospital-grade disinfectants, these features will last the life of the computer without damage.

How much power can your DC out provide and can you provide me the connector to my device?

Our DC out can provide up to 26 watts of continuous power for an external device. We have a large catalog of connectors we can supply including printers, scanners, cameras and many more. Please reach out to your Cybernet representative for more information.

Why should I buy a medical-grade monitor versus a standard monitor like those from ELO, Asus, etc?

Opting for a medical-grade monitor ensures enhanced patient and staff safety, regulatory compliance, and suitability for the unique demands of healthcare environments, making it the preferred choice for medical applications. You can learn more about medical-grade monitor and why they're superior to regular monitor in our in-depth analysis.

How can I do a complete power cycle on my battery-powered medical monitor?

Press and hold the front power button for 10 seconds to turn off all power, including the optional DC output equipment. Simply tap the button one more time for 1 second to turn on all power.

Are your CyberMed XB monitors the same dimensions as your all-in-one PCs?

Yes, exact same form and fit. Placing our AIO and monitor side by side has a very nice aesthetic because they are matching pairs. The AIO is just a bit heavier with the additional electronics inside to make it a computer.

How can I tell what voltage the DC output is set to?

On the rear housing of our XB monitors we place two labels that clearly indicate the voltage levels of each output. Look for a yellow or blue label that indicate the exact color coded voltage level.
